In the beginning of this year I decided that I was going to make a difference in my life. That I was going to become a better, healthier person. That I was going to start doing things instead of just thinking about doing them. So this is me finally getting around to making that commitment
- Morning
- 1 glass of water
- 5 min BexLife ab workout
- 3 Rounds of a cross fit workout
- Breakfast(9am)
- Banana Date Smoothie
- 3 bananas, 5 dates, 1 C. coconut water
- 1 C. of herbal tea
- Peach pomegranate smoothie
- 1 1/2 C. Frozen peaches, 1/2 C. pom, 1/4 C. silken tofu, 1 C. Almond milk
- 2- 80 cal. dairy free coconut milk ice cream bars
- 1 C. Organic blue corn tortilla chips with 1/4 c. homemade vegan cheese dip.
- Dinner (8 pm)
- fried eggs over Asparagus
- 2 eggs, handful of asparagus, 1 garlic clove, 1/8 tsp. frozen hot peppers, drizzled with Organic Ketchup.
- Spinach, Basil, Orange, Pineapple smoothie
- Handful of spinach, 2 large basil leaves, 1 C. organic orange juice, 1/4 C. pineapple, and 1/4 tsp. Fresh ginger.
- Evening(9pm)
- 1 C. Herbal tea with honey
I have a bad cold almost certainly made worse, by my grain and cheese consumption over the weekend. Had to take a nap after work, which seemed to help me feel a little better, but what really seemed to help was what I ate for dinner.
As for the failures of the day. I am working on stopping this, and becoming more of a mindful eater. I know I can do this, I just need to put my mind to it.
